Moodle Assignment
Grading with Moodle Assignments can be as simple as returning a percentage or a letter on the post graduate scale, to more detailed marking guides and rubrics that incorporate feedback. Markers can return feedback files, annotate submissions with comments, and record video feedback.
Moodle assignments are particularly suited to grading group submissions whereby grades and feedback allocated to students are automatically distributed to all group members. The marking allocation and workflow features support multiple markers though the allocation to specific students, and by indicating the stage of the marking process.
An overview of the interface is shown in the video below, and the University Staff Guidelines provide helpful hints & tips, while detailed instructions for setting up Marking Guides and Rubrics are provided on the official Moodle site.
You can browse for posts on the Moodle Assignment using the category menu or the tag cloud on the right hand side of the page.
