To extend the deadline of a Turnitin assignment simply click the assignment link from the module home page and then click the pencil icon to change the date. This date then applies to all students submitting to the assignment and cannot be adjusted for individual students.
Note that the post date is when marks and feedback are released to students.
Alternatively you can leave the dates as they are and simply allow late submissions. To do this edit the assignment settings and scroll down to the ‘Originality Reports Options’ section where the option is available. Late submissions will appear in red font in the assignment class list.
A third option is to create a new assignment (titled ‘resubmission’) and set the due/post dates to accordingly.
To extend the deadline of a Moodle assignment simply click the assignment link and then click the cog icon to edit the settings. Scroll down to the ‘Availability’ section and change the due date.
It is possible to adjust the due date for individual students or groups. From the cog icon select one of the override options, click the Add button, search for the students or groups, and then set the date.
