On Thursday 24th March Professor Davis delivered the 2nd One Day Training Session for Road Planners on Transport and Public Health. The session, supported by SCOTS, was attended by local highway authority officers from across Scotland. Coming at a time when there is greater awareness as to the importance of public health, these events, part funded by Paths for All, seek to equip local authority roads colleagues with insights and understanding as to the many-layered connections between transport and public health. The aim is to enable roads and public health colleagues to collaborate on a shared agenda.
