The nominees for the EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK Awards, Award for Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning (SUMP Award) and the EU Urban Road Safety Award were announced yesterday. Prof Adrian Davis appeared as a judge and the finalists for this award were announced.
The shortlisted cities were selected by an independent panel of mobility and transport experts. The winners will be crowned during an online award ceremony on 28 March 2022 at 15.00 CET. For more information and to attend the ceremony, click here.
The European Mobility Week is the most widespread campaign on sustainable mobility in the world. It takes place annually from the 16th to the 22nd of September. The aim of the campaign is to get local authorities involved in directly encouraging their citizens to make more sustainable transport decisions. It encourages behavioural change in favour of active mobility, public transport and other clean, intelligent transport solutions.
