New Road Safety Policy for Scotland launched today

Responding to the publication of the new Road Safety Framework to 2030, Adrian Davis, Professor of Transport & Health said:

“This new statement of intent on road safety is welcomed. Scotland’s commendable ambitions on tackling climate change clearly needs to be reflected in road safety practice. TRI looks forward to working with Transport Scotland, practitioners and the public in reducing not only casualty numbers but also the perceptions and concerns that suppress travel among those who pose least risk to others while contributing most to population health.”
