Prof Adrian Davis and Andrew Keba (MSc student) will be presenting at the STAR Conference (15-17 Dec 2020)

Prof Adrian Davis and Andrew Keba will be presenting at the online STAR Conference on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th December. 

STAR 2020 will focus on results of research, good practice and practical issues of implementation that are relevant to Scottish transport policy, infrastructure delivery and transport provision.

The conference will concentrate on:

  • Active Travel
  • Sustainability
  • Sustainable Travel Behaviour
  • Public Transport
  • National Transport Strategy
  • Appraisal

Andrew Keba, one of our MSc students has completed a dissertation on “Mode Choice Changes Among NHS Workers During the Covid-19 Pandemic” with Dr Achille Fonzone and Dr Grigorios Fountas.  Andrew will present his results at the opening session of the STAR conference, alongside people from Transport Scotland, on Tuesday 15th December.

Adrian will be speaking during the session:  ‘Getting the best from Active Travel’ (0930 – 1100 hours) on Wednesday 16th December about ‘Effective Interventions in road transport to improve public health: evidence from active travel projects and programmes.’
