The 2020 National Walking Summit will see public health experts from across the UK and beyond discuss the link between making our streets fitter for walking and improving public health. Join them live from 10.15am tomorrow.
Greater Manchester’s Walking and Cycling Commissioner, Chris Boardman, will outline his priorities to create a healthier, more active region. Prof Shane O’Mara will present the new science of how we walk and why it is good for us.
The day will also feature a stellar line-up of city leaders, transport planners, academics and public health experts.
The day will culminate with Living Streets’ Annual General Meeting.
