Stagecoach are launching the UK’s first autonomous bus service next summer, which will run from the Ferrytoll Park & Ride in Fife across the Forth Road Bridge to the Edinburgh Park train station and tram stop.
Edinburgh Napier’s Transport Research Institute and Stagecoach are hosting a public consultation event on 12th September from 1.30pm to 9pm at the Edinburgh Park Premier Inn.
They are keen to speak to commuters and drivers who will be sharing the road with these computer driven vehicles to understand how they feel about this emerging technology, hopes and fears, and how they might expect the service to look, feel and interact.
