Dr Nazan Kocak is taking part in the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety (PACTS) Conference: Streets Safe for Walking as a panelist today to share her experience in street design. Nazan was one of the key officers who led the development of the Edinburgh Street Design Guidance and the detailed technical manual that supports it.
Nazan continues to provide support for the City of Edinburgh Council on street design issues. Currently, Nazan and Richard Llewellyn have been delivering introductory staff training workshops on some of the key issues dealt in the Guidance.
