9th Electric Vehicle Conference – Wednesday 9th October 2024

Automobiles are a liberating technology for people around the world.  Automobiles provide access to markets, jobs, educational institutions and places that offer pleasure and relaxation.  However, the issue of tail-pipe emissions has come under sharp scrutiny due to their impact on local and global pollution.

Electric vehicles offer an elegant solution to the above-mentioned issues, however, if only the electricity required to recharge is obtained from sustainable sources.  With the cost of wind and solar electricity dropping at an exponential rate, we are truly witnessing a revolution in plentiful and sustainable electric generation.

Currently, two candidates have emerged as potential replacement of fossil-fuelled vehicles – all electric and hydrogen powered cars.

As a leader in electric vehicle research, Edinburgh Napier University has organised international conferences on e-vehicles.  The 9th annual conference shall take place at Edinburgh Napier’s Craiglockhart Campus on Wednesday 9th October from 9.30am until 3.30pm.

This event is free to attend and is on a “first come first served” basis.
