Project HEART recognised for its work in Accessibility and Inclusion

Researchers at the Transport Research Insitute have been working on Project HEART (Hydrogen Electric and Automated Regional Transportation), leading work packages on accessibility and passenger experience.

The project is funded by Innovate UK as part of the Future Flyer Challenge, a £300 million programme that aims to create a new aviation ecosystem in the UK.  The project will soon be coming to an end and the Future Flyer Challenge team have recently awarded the Project a certificate of appreciation for its achievements in inclusion and accessibility within the future flight challenge.
