Dr Clare McTigue returns to TRI

We are delighted to welcome back Dr Clare McTigue as Research Fellow at TRI.

After graduating in 2018, Clare joined the City of Edinburgh Council and was the Travel Plan & Research/Monitoring Officer for 14 months.  During this time, she worked with stakeholders and colleagues across the Council to develop the Council’s corporate travel plan, ensuring that potential impacts of travel to/from work were mitigated.  Outside of the Council, she continued writing journal articles with her PhD supervisors, Prof Tom Rye and Dr Jason Monios.  Her fondness for research led her back to TRI where she is now working with Dr Achille Fonzone, Dr Greg Fountas and Dr Adebola Olowosegun on two research projects related to shared mobility and bicycle safety.  She is also delivering the Transport Demand Management & Road Safety Module, alongside Greg Fountas.
