Prof Tom Rye has been retained for 20 months by the World Bank Transport Division to support them as a special advisor on a project that is assisting two Turkish cities, Kocaeli and Izmir, with their Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans. He will also be running workshops with national government officials on public transport regulation and sustainable transport.
