Samantha Mcphillips

Samantha is a 2nd year LLB student, she is particularly interested in intellectual property law, family law and human rights, she also enjoys researching with a focus on discrimination and gender based violence

 

Honorary Elections and Appeals Officer

Dr. Lorna Gillies, Associate Professor of Law

Dr. Gillies began her role as Associate Professor at Napier in January 2020. Previously, she was a Lecturer in Law at both the Universities of Leicester and Strathclyde. She was also Senior Lecturer in Law at both the Universities of Leicester and Essex. Her role in the Law Review is to supervise elections to the Editorial Board and, in the event of a disciplinary hearing, provide the final impartial decision where an appeal to a decision has been held.
