You may have seen the article by Max Coleman in Scottish Forestry about CALEDON – a computer game about tree health – and seen that we are seeking feedback for a review in Autumn.

Nice idea.I haven’t got time to play it but I’ll pass it on. The Sitka spruce in the demo ended up with Dothistroma needle blight which although possible under a high spore load from an adjacent Corsican pine plantation, isn’t likely.
Hi Mike – I recommend you find a few minutes to play the free play (sandbox) level if you can. Although I expect it less relaxing for someone professionally concerned with tree health!
The Sitka spruce in this game also gets Phytophthora ramorum quite easily. (I guess a certain amount of realism has to be sacrificed for game balance).
