Every week during term time, staff and postgraduate students in psychology are invited to come along to our vibrant, informal “Brief Encounters” discussion group to discuss a variety of topics for half an hour over tea or coffee (and cake or bubbly for special occasions).
We take it in turns to choose the topic and lead the discussion. In the past, we have discussed issues as diverse as neuroethics, witchcraft, Lance Armstrong, Bayesian statistics, and behaviour change.
We meet at 1pm on Mondays in room 1.C.25 (Psychology Labs), Sighthill.
If you would like to be added to the email list for Brief Encounters, please email Jennifer Murray.
