Applied Cognitive Psychology

Our Applied Cognition research is largely interlinked with our Forensic Psychology research. Some examples of the innovative research being conducted under this cluster include:

  • Facial identification, construction of facial composites and facial image comparison for border control
  • Visual search and movement behaviour and how it is influenced by age, attentional load, and dyslexia
  • Creativity and how it is affected by ageing and the cognitive processes involved
  • Creativity in relation to ADHD
