-1 week to Graduation: What’s next?

One week to go. ONE WEEK TO GO! This does not even sound real! My friends and family are gonna join me from Italy, Scotland and US and I truly can’t believe this moment is almost here. Everything is ready: my gown, photography and evening buffet for my guests. I feel excited just thinking about next week, but at the same time I have that bittersweet feeling that makes me realise that I’m gonna have to leave both Edinburgh and Edinburgh Napier. This makes me so sad I can’t even explain! However, I’m sure I’ll always keep in touch through the Alumni community, which kind of makes me feel better 🙂

Study Abroad – Part 1

Being an International Student in Edinburgh

Oh my, I look like a baby here!

Hi lads and lassies out there!

Here I am again. This week I thought I could tell you a little more about myself and how I ended up to study here in Edinburgh.
I was born in Italy 22 years ago (Veneto is my homebase) and I’ve always dreamt of living abroad to improve my language skills and experience a completely new cultural environment. Now, you may argue that Europe is Europe and so cultures are not that different from each other…….well, I would say that probably differences are not like Western-Eastern countries, but believe me: what I found here was very different from what I was used to.
