Starting off 2025 with the Scottish Education Exchange Partnership programme in Indonesia

What an incredible start to the Year 2025 for Edinburgh Napier University‘s Business School in Indonesia!

Funded by The Scottish Government‘s Scottish Education Exchange Partnership programme, two staff and eight students participated in the two-week programme “Sustainability Exploration: A Journey to Indonesia” 🌎 🌱 🤝. Working with our long-standing partner BINUS University Indonesia, we designed a field trip in Jakarta and Bandung which offered real-world learning to our staff and students on the challenges and opportunities of sustainability in an emerging country such as Indonesia. During the trip, they witnessed and learned about the innovative approaches being taken by organisations to address sustainability challenges. Indonesia’s diverse cultures and ecosystems offer unique perspectives on how local practices and wisdom combined with innovations contribute to environmental stewardship and societal benefits.standing in front

Special thanks to organisations who have kindly hosted our staff and students and shared their amazing work British Council, PT DuaPuluhTiga, Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional RI (BRIN RI), UNICEF Indonesia, Wahana Visi Indonesia, Waste4Change, and PT Pertamina (Persero).
