We hope that this blog will serve as forum for sharing news, research, current practice and ideas about the Scottish higher education sector’s current Enhancement Theme “Student Transitions”. This theme, managed by the Quality Assurance Agency Scotland, runs for three years (to 2017) and focuses on transitions into, out of, and during university.
The purpose of this theme is to support Scottish institutions’ work to build a flexible and responsive higher education experience which is accessible to all – through managed transitions and articulations between schools, HE, FE and employment. A great deal of work and research activity is under way at Edinburgh Napier relating to effective student transitions which we would like to share and discuss on this blog….
