Former Masters by Research student
I began studying an Masters by Research at Edinburgh Napier University in 2015 after completing a BSc in Psychology at Lancaster University and an M.A in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at the National Counselling Institute of Ireland. My current research is on the impact that caring for a suicidal loved one has on family members. My other research interests include psychological trauma, suicidal behaviour, caregiver burden, and talking therapies for mental health issues. I will be presenting my current research at the Scottish Mental Health Nursing Conference at Abertay University in April.
