Conference: Advancing Practice Across Europe for Health and Social Care Management

This conference is organised by four European Universities, Edinburgh Napier University, Charles University, Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and LAB University of Applied Sciences (Finland). These universities have formed the DOCMAN consortium, and is co-funded by Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. Hosted by Charles University on behalf of the DOCMAN project.

This conference is focused on the issues leaders and managers face in health and social care services in Europe. This will be an excellent opportunity for managers, leaders and academics from across Europe to share learning and practice in this field.

Providing quality social and health care, places high demands on providers. In response to the increasing and changing needs of service users, organisation providing care need to develop and innovate. The conference Advancing Practice Across Europe for Health and Social Care Management will reveal ways to respond to growing societal changes. It will show how different European countries respond to increasing demands. It will create space for sharing experiences, asking critical questions, revealing functional procedures, and also explore the shared challenges we face in these sectors.

There is no cost to attend for individuals from health and social care organisations or academia, but spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis and with a view to including a diversity of organisations. Please note there is an option of three evening activities on the first night, however these will incur additional charges. We also are able to offer free accommodation at the conference hotel (https://www.hotel-golf.cz/en/) for a limited number of UK participants.
