Seminar on the Changing Landscape of Health and Social Care – competencies for tomorrows leaders

Health and wellbeing are core values for the population of the EU. Those who are charged with managing these services require new skills and knowledge to deliver sustainable services with ageing populations, pressures on budgets and increasing complexity. This seminar will focus on the educational needs and competencies needed by those managing health and social care services or increasing for those managing both.

It will focus on the outcomes of two areas of work which have examined these issues in four regions of Europe. The target audience of the seminar are decisions makers from organizations representing local, regional and national authorities and organizations and their managers involved delivery of health and social care services. It will also be targeted at academics and health and social care management students.
