I started at Edinburgh Napier University in 2011, and graduated in 2015 in the area of psychology with sociology. I then worked as a research assistant on a project in the area of person-centred care, before beginning my postgraduate research career. The research is investigating the subjective perception of clinicians’ who work with patients who are at risk of suicide and their view of the facilitators and barriers to providing person centred care when working with this group. The study is using interview and Q-Methodology and will involve clinicians’ working in NHS Lothian.
I hope to continue to contribute to research in the future and I am always happy to discuss potential research ideas, so feel free to contact me (N.Walsh@napier.ac.uk).
