Dr Nazmi Sellami organised a collaboration meeting on Saturday 27th August 2022 with a group of researchers (41 visitors) led by Professor Ludger Fischer, Head of the Competence Center Thermal Energy Storage from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts’ School of Engineering and Architecture, Switzerland.
Following the Welcome Speech by the Dean of the School of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment, Professor Peter Andras, Professor Tariq Muneer, and Professor Ludger Fischer presented an overview of relevant research activities and projects.
The visitors from Lucerne University then had the chance to visit the research and teaching laboratories within the school. This was made possible thanks to a group of technicians and academics from the School of Computing, Engineering, and the Built environment, who dedicated their time on a Saturday to welcome our visitors and show them the labs. The meeting culminated in a networking lunch, which offered all attendees the opportunity to discuss potential research collaborations. Some staff members identified synonymous research interests, and it is hoped that we will continue building further links and expanding our research connections further.
