Exhibition: ‘Powered by AI’ – Thursday 16 May, 10am – 4pm, Merchiston Campus Glassroom

AI is increasingly impacting all areas of life, how we communicate, explore the world and keep it safe. At Edinburgh Napier’s School of Computing, Engineering & the Built Environment, both our research and teaching are helping to shape the future of AI, from digital technologies, to robotics, cybersecurity and more.

Join us at our Merchiston Campus on Thursday 16 May to get hands on with the world of AI. You’ll find the following exhibitions, and more.

  • Have a go at controlling our robot dogs, who can sit up and beg and even dance.
  • Meet Euclid, our robot face being trained to recognise facial expressions.
  • Explore virtual reality with Meta Quest/Oculus.
  • Investigate some of the cybersecurity risks posed by our modern society.
