Congratulations to Professor Emma Hart, who received the ACM SIGEVO (Special Interest Group on Genetic and Evolutionary Computation) award for Outstanding Contribution to Evolutionary Computation (EC) at the GECCO 2023 conference in Lisbon.
Emma has dedicated herself to the study and practical implementation of EC methods over the decades (inspired by the cross-over between nature and AI).
