Luigi La Spada is guest-editing a special issue entitled “Applications to Biophysics and Medical Physics” in collaboration with the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, Polytechnic University of Bari.
The Special Issue will provide a forum for the latest research activities and novel trends in smart devices and technologies, with focus (but not limited) on biophysics and medical physics. The Special Issue aims to examine new paradigms where device performances are based on coupled physical phenomena, such as: electromagnetic, mechanical, acoustic and thermodynamics. Smart devices will open a wealth of new opportunities, impacting on any practical applications, and representing a major technological breakthrough in the next few years.
