Dr Stathis Tingas is invited to be a panel member for EPSRC’s New Horizons panel on 15th and 16th of March

The EPSRC has invited Dr Stathis Tingas to be a panel member for one of their upcoming outline panels for the New Horizons funding opportunity.  The panel convenes on 15th & 16th March 2022.   EPSRC approached Stathis to assist with the Materials and Mechanical Engineering Panel.  The New Horizons funding opportunity is a pilot programme which is being delivered to the Engineering and ICT communities. This second phase of the pilot programme intends to encourage and support speculative, high-risk research ideas that could potentially offer high reward. It also aims to stimulate creativity within the research community to give researchers time and space to test out their ideas.
