The Energy Technology Partnership (ETP) is pleased to announce the ‘Carbon Lifecycle Analysis for the Build Environment – Recent Developments’ event on Wednesday 26th February 2020 which will be held at the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation.
Speakers from across industry and academia will examine the trends in academic theory, regulatory requirements, net zero government targets and current developments & best practice.
Embodied carbon and energy tend to be considered at an operational level only during construction projects, with a reduction in emissions associated with the initial materials used, construction methods and processes often overlooked.
This event is aimed at architects, planners, engineers, stakeholders from within the construction industry, and academics in order to exchange knowledge and build networks in this area.
