The Scottish Knowledge Exchange Awards recognise, reward and celebrate the impacts achieved through academic and business partnerships. We’d like to show Scotland how innovative businesses, universities, research institutes and colleges are leading the way towards economic growth, societal improvements and environmental advances and further positioning Scotland as a CAN DO nation.

Why should you apply?
Now in its fourth year, the Scottish Knowledge Exchange Awards are well established as THE showcase event of the year for knowledge exchange in Scotland.

Being shortlisted or winning an award will provide you with essential evidence for your Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021 submissions. The value of impact case studies has increased from 20% to 25%, so applying is the perfect way to start your REF 2021 preparations.

Previous award winners have reported the following benefits from winning:

· Independent endorsement of research impacts

· Peer recognition for students, lecturers, academics, departments and institutions

· Development of transferable skills and increased employability for students

· Innovative partnerships and collaborations showcased

· Increased media coverage.

We are calling for entries across seven categories – the largest number to date!
