Edinburgh Napier University Photo and Film Consent

We often record public engagement events through photos and films. This is done in accordance with the University’s filming and photography policy. The documents below outline the forms you’ll need to use to ask people for their consent.

Photo and film event notice 2026 (this should be displayed at an event in a prominent place, so that people can read it)

Photo and film general consent Form 2026 (this form should be completed by people attending your event, or an appropriate adult if they are younger than 16)

Photo and film consent checklist 2026 (this can be used for people who may need support to understand the consent process, so ensure they understand it and agree with it)
