Prof Hongnian Yu is a guest editor for a Special Issue on ‘Wearable Sensors for Gait and Falls Monitoring’.
Falls and any resulting injuries and disabilities remain major public health concerns worldwide. There is a need to develop newer and better technologies that can support digital transformation to be able to assess gait, predict and detect falls, reduce injury and facilitate the remote delivery of healthcare in newer and innovative ways and to reduce health inequity. This Special Issue of Sensors aims to promote and support leading research in this area.
