Dr. Libu Manjakkal, lecturer at Edinburgh Napier University has been appointed as an Editor of Chemical Engineering Journal, a journal from Elsevier. The Chemical Engineering Journal is an international research journal that invites contributions of original and novel fundamental research. The journal aims to provide an international forum for the presentation of original fundamental research, interpretative reviews, and discussion of new developments in chemical engineering. The Chemical Engineering Journal focuses on five aspects of chemical engineering: catalysis, chemical reaction engineering, environmental chemical engineering, green and sustainable science and engineering, and novel materials.
Dr. Manjakkal brings a wealth of expertise in advanced functional materials synthesis, printed electrodes and sustainable electronics, textile sensors and supercapacitors, electrochemical and biosensors, wearable sensors and energy storage devices, environmental pollution monitoring, and healthcare monitoring devices. Dr Manjakkal also acted as an Editor of the Elsevier Journal Results in Engineering showcasing his contribution to advancing research in the field of materials for sensors and energy storage.
“Dr Manjakkal is an excellent colleague, with exciting ideas and projects. He is clearly a leader in his field” said Prof. Peter Andras, the Dean of the School of Computing and Engineering & the Built Environment, Edinburgh Napier University.
