About the Santander Universities research grants
As part of Santander Universities’ commitment to supporting higher education they have developed a new initiative exclusively for postgraduate students and academic research staff providing them with the funds they need to support or develop their research.
Developed based on feedback from partner universities, Santander Universities will be giving away 50 grants of £1000 on a random basis. The funding can be used on resources, equipment, travel, workshop or conference attendance and any other research-based expenses.
Who can apply?
This opportunity is open to any postgraduate students and academic university staff conducting research at a UK-based university. You can be conducting any research in any field. You do not need to be Santander customers to apply.
How do you apply?
Visit the Santander Scholarships platform, where you’ll need to register an account. After registering, you’ll get a confirmation email. Then you can apply for the Santander Universities Research Grants initiative. You’ll need to provide a valid university student or staff ID number and confirm which university you attend or work at.
Applications close on 12 October 2023.
