Over the summer we have been busy working on a number of different projects which are to enhance the research information management at the University.
Worktribe
We have updated Worktribe to the Summer 2021 version. This has user improvements for the Research and Innovation staff around contract management. There are also a few fixes to the information display for academic users.
We have changed the way you log into Worktribe when off campus. You can now access remotely via managed laptop, VDS or via University single sign on. The Worktribe guidance has been updated to reflect this. https://staff.napier.ac.uk/services/research-innovation-office/rms/Pages/RMS-FAQ.aspx
Research Fingerprinting
The research fingerprinting in Research Professional was updated in August with the most recent information for your funding alerts from your research profiles.
You should ensure that your Worktribe profile is up to date so this is reflected on the University research profiles so that this can be reflected in your fingerprint.
To receive the fingerprint alerts you also need to have a Research Professional account. You can then modify the fingerprint to further tailor your funding opportunity alerts.
Online Ethics/Integrity Applications
Over the summer the Business School and the School of Engineering and Built Environment moved to the online ethics process in Worktribe for staff and research degree student research.
These Schools join Schools of Health and Social Care, Computing, and Applied Sciences in using the online application. We hope to move the remaining two committees online in this academic year.
University Online Ethics Application now available in Worktribe
