The REF Team at Research England (acting on behalf of the UK funding bodies) has announced a postponement to REF2021:

The new submission date and further details of other adjustments to the framework are unknown at present. However, the REF Team within the University’s Research, Innovation and Enterprise Office will be continuing to work closely with our UoA leaders to understand how we can support staff and continue our REF preparations, whilst adjusting to new ways of working.
