The European Commission launched the FP7 Post-Grant Open Access Pilot early in 2015, https://www.openaire.eu/postgrantoapilot, to fund Open Access publishing fees for publications arising from finished FP7 projects through the OpenAIRE project. This Pilot provides funding for Article Processing Charges (APCs)
Today JISC contacted UK HEIs to tell them about their participation in the EU funded OpenAIRE2020 project. JISC are also now the National Open Access Desk (NOAD) for the UK and part of their role is to provide detailed information on Horizon2020 Open Access Policy
EC/OPenAire Gold Open Access Pilot Project reports on its first technical workshop. The FP7 post-grant Gold OA Pilot aims to set up a two pronged workflow for receiving and processing funding requests. These requests may come directly from researchers or
