Emotional Touchpoints at the NCCPE Engage Summit 2026

We were delighted to host a workshop at the NCCPE’s Engage Summit in Birmingham in April 2026. We shared how we created our Emotional Touchpoints with Public Engagement Professionals (PEPs) from across the UK.

During the workshop we gave an overview of what Emotional Touchpoints are and why we wanted to develop a new set of touchpoints that would be relevant for people working in public engagement to use in their work.

We gave participants the opportunity to take part in or watch a facilitated discussion using the touchpoints, using the new cards with PEP-relevant scenarios.

Participants were invited to give us some feedback at the end of the session.

We also had a poster at Engage and were pleased to talk to conference delegates about the project.

The workshop and poster were facilitated by Dawn, Mandy and Stephen who have together developed the project.
