SEBE PhD Students: best paper awards

Congratulations to the three winners of the School of Engineering and Built Environment’s best PhD paper competition 2017/2018.

Top prize went to Niaz Gharavi with his paper ‘End effect on determining shear modulus of timber beams in torsion tests’.

The runner- up award was shared by Suzanne Meade for her paper ‘Modelling Cycling Flow for the estimation of cycling risk at a meso urban spatial level’ and Amaka Onyianta  with her paper ‘Aqueous morpholine pre-treatment in cellulose nanofibril (CNF) production:  comparison with carboxymethylation and TEMP oxidisation pre-treatment methods.’
