Dr Hitoshi Komoto (photo with SEBE’s Dr Gokula Vasantha), Senior Research Scientist from National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan presented his latest research work at the SEBE lunchtime research seminar on Thursday November 1st. His presentation illustrated the holistic life-cycle simulation approach for designing sustainable product-service systems, which consider design, manufacturing and environmental analysis at the earliest design stages. The talk also introduced research areas carried out at AIST and the latest themes around smart manufacturing.
