{"id":861,"date":"2019-08-06T10:58:21","date_gmt":"2019-08-06T10:58:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/scebe-research\/?p=861"},"modified":"2019-08-06T10:58:46","modified_gmt":"2019-08-06T10:58:46","slug":"carnegie-research-incentive-grant-deadline-11-september-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/scebe-research\/carnegie-research-incentive-grant-deadline-11-september-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Carnegie Research Incentive Grant: Deadline 11 September 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A reminder that the next deadline for the <strong>Carnegie Research Incentive Grant is 11 September 2019\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Key aspects of call:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The purpose of the scheme is to make it possible for an <strong><em>Early Career Researcher<\/em><\/strong> to undertake, as the Principal Investigator, a short research project, either of a stand-alone nature or in the form of an initial study that could be expected to lead to a more extensive project.<\/li>\n<li>The principal criterion for the award of a RIG is that the planned research is of excellent quality, will enable the principal investigator to develop a new project or line of research and is likely to lead to high quality outputs and outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Research Incentive Grants are tenable between 1 and 12 months.
