Advocating for Yourself (13 February 2025)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Edinburgh Napier University is pleased to be partnering with <a class=\"VqtxQbWoLpIbcJnGtZXbaJEBDNpAbVzwGjIU \" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/ceed-scotland\/\" target=\"_self\" data-test-app-aware-link=\"\">CeeD (Centre for Engineering, Education and Development)<\/a> to host their next Women in Engineering networking event at our <a class=\"VqtxQbWoLpIbcJnGtZXbaJEBDNpAbVzwGjIU \" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/edinburgh-napier-university\/\" target=\"_self\" data-test-app-aware-link=\"\">Edinburgh Napier University<\/a> Merchiston Campus on 13 February 2025!<\/p>\n<p>CeeD&#8217;s mission is to create a safe and supportive network to address the under-representation of women in the <a class=\"VqtxQbWoLpIbcJnGtZXbaJEBDNpAbVzwGjIU \" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/feed\/hashtag\/?keywords=engineering&amp;highlightedUpdateUrns=urn%3Ali%3Aactivity%3A7284884753915211777\" data-test-app-aware-link=\"\"><span class=\"visually-hidden\">hashtag<\/span><span aria-hidden=\"true\">#<\/span>engineering<\/a> industry.<\/p>\n<p>As well as providing networking opportunities for attendees to connect, share experiences &amp; build valuable professional relationships, at this session <a id=\"ember469\" class=\"ember-view\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/kathleenharkins\/\">Kathleen Harkins<\/a> will facilitate a workshop on Advocating for Yourself, guiding you through topics such as assertiveness, handling difficult conversations, and leveraging these skills to position yourself as a leader.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\ude4b\ud83c\udffb\u200d\u2640\ufe0f This event is open to everyone who wants to contribute &#8211;
