Tariq Muneer is awarded the SOLARIS life-time achievement award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Many congratulations to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.napier.ac.uk\/people\/tariq-muneer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Prof Tariq Muneer<\/a>, who has been awarded the SOLARIS life time achievement award by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.htsj.or.jp\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Heat Transfer Society of Japan<\/a>.&nbsp; This is in recognition of his 44 years of &#8220;life-long contribution of essential work on solar radiation and daylight modelling, education and international exchange.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Solaris conference provides a platform for meetings for researchers in the area of solar energy and efficient energy technology.<\/p>\n<p>Tariq gave a keynote address to the <a href=\"https:\/\/solaris2021.com\/#about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">11<sup>th<\/sup> Solaris International Conference<\/a> in Tokyo on 27-29 September 2021 on \u2018Solar Radiation and Illuminance Models\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Muneer has published 10 books and over 280 articles on the subject of
