SUMMARY:EPSRC IAA Impact Festival
DESCRIPTION:Following the success of last year’s Impact Festival we are delighted to invite you to the 2019 Impact Festival. This event is organised by the five Scottish Universities* who have been awarded an EPSRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) and is designed for early and mid-career academics and researchers. The registration page is now open to all other Scottish Higher Education institutions and we would also welcome those from out with the engineering and science fields.  \nThe 2019 edition of the Impact Festival will focus on engagement with external partners to expand collaborative working\, leading to impact between researchers\, academics\, industry\, charities and Government. EPSRC will be in attendance and will give a presentation.  \nThe day comprises plenary sessions with speakers from both industry and public bodies and breakout sessions covering the following topics:\n•	Maximising your impact\n•	Masterclass on engaging with business and pitching your research\n•	Engaging with Policy Makers\n•	Funding for Impact/Innovation \nAttendance is free and you can register using this link EPSRC Impact Festival\nPlease note that that registration is a two part process\, whereby\, you will input your email into the system and then it will send you a link to complete the registration process.\nIn order to facilitate online bookings for IAA Impact Festival event\, we are using the Edinburgh Innovations event booking system.
