{"id":587,"date":"2017-11-02T08:50:04","date_gmt":"2017-11-02T08:50:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/rio\/?p=587"},"modified":"2017-11-02T10:23:02","modified_gmt":"2017-11-02T10:23:02","slug":"scottish-life-sciences-autumn-reception-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/rie\/scottish-life-sciences-autumn-reception-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Engaging with &#8230;the Scottish Life Sciences Association Autumn Reception 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scottishlifesciencesassociation.org.uk\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Scottish Life Sciences Association <\/a>held their 2017 Autumn Reception at RBS Business School last week on Thursday, 26th October.<\/p>\n<p>Hosted by Scott Johnstone (CEO of the SLA), the event&#8217;s keynote speaker was Kyle Keeney, President and CEO of the Kentucky Life Sciences Council and co-founder of the <a href=\"https:\/\/turnpikepartnership.org\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Turnpike Partnership<\/a>. Kyle gave us all an enthusiastic overview of the life sciences initiatives they are championing, on making connections within the life sciences community and acting as industry mentors.
