This event will give academics the opportunity to learn about the spin-out process with Wellspring, before delving into how to prepare the perfect pitch to turn your research project into an exciting business venture with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.convergechallenge.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Converge<\/a>, Scotland\u2019s leading entrepreneurial challenge.<\/p>\n<p>Joining the event will be 4 Scottish Innovators from MI:RNA, Marine Polymers, MicroplateDX and Mi:Algae.<\/p>\n<h4>Opportunity to win \u00a31,000 funding<\/h4>\n<p>Applicants will be asked to provide a draft pitch which you will workshop during the event before getting your chance to present to their &#8216;friendly dragons&#8217; with your refined pitch. Winners will receive \u00a31,000 funding towards their professional development and travel expenses will be covered for all attendees. Don\u2019t worry, you don\u2019t need to be ready to launch tomorrow!
