However, the complex, capital intensive challenges encountered when building a successful biotechnology based operation are both distinctive and significant.<\/p>\n<p>From sourcing laboratory and scale up facilities through to engaging the right personnel and securing regulatory approval, each step of the journey presents potential barriers to innovators in the bioeconomy.<\/p>\n<p>In recognition of these hurdles, and their unique position as a networking and support organisation specialising in this space, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibioic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC)<\/a> is launching\u00a0the <strong>Biotech Innovators accelerator programme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This exciting new offering will guide and assist a cohort of early stage companies through a series of themed expert led events and activities &#8211; an opportunity to receive guidance on best practice, direct innovation support and peer to peer learning.<\/p>\n<h4>Register now for launch event, 6 October<\/h4>\n<p>As part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibioic.com\/events-database\/bioeconomy-week-scotland-2022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scottish Bioeconomy Week<\/a>, the Bioeconomy Cluster Builder is delighted to mark the launch of Biotech Innovators with a dedicated event.<\/p>\n<p>Join<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibioic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> IBioIC<\/a> at The Technology and Innovation Centre, University of Strathclyde, on Thursday 6 October to hear presentations from stakeholders with expertise in young company development.
