Please get in touch with Fiona Mason if you are interested in applying \u2013 <a href=\"mailto:f.mason@napier.ac.uk\">f.mason@napier.ac.uk<\/a> | x3357 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Scottish Knowledge Exchange Awards recognise, reward and celebrate the impacts achieved through academic and business partnerships. We&#8217;d like to show Scotland how innovative businesses, universities, research institutes and colleges are leading the way towards economic growth, societal improvements and environmental advances and further positioning Scotland as a CAN DO nation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deadline for applications: 29 November 2019<\/li>\n<li>Finalists announced: 9 January 2020<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge Exchange Awards Ceremony: 27 February 2020<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The awards categories are as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge Exchange Champion of the Year<\/strong> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/interface-online.org.uk\/sites\/default\/files\/Knowledge Exchange Champion 2020_1.docx\">Download the application form here<\/a>.<br \/>\nRecognising an individual in academia (university, college, research institute), business or support organisation who has made an outstanding contribution to Knowledge Exchange. Applications should demonstrate how the individual has gone the extra mile above and beyond their day job.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Innovation of the Year<\/strong> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/interface-online.org.uk\/sites\/default\/files\/Innovation of the Year Award 2020_1.docx\">You can view the application form here<\/a>.<br \/>\nAwarded to an innovative product, process or service that has been developed over the past five years. Applications should demonstrate how the academic partnership has been fundamental in supporting the product, service or process innovation. <i>This award is for Interface facilitated and Innovation Voucher projects only<\/i>. The Interface team will nominate projects and will contact businesses and academics directly to request further details for the judging panel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Making a Difference Award<\/strong> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/interface-online.org.uk\/sites\/default\/files\/Making a Difference Award 2020_0.docx\">Download the application form here<\/a>.<br \/>\nCelebrating collaborative projects which have achieved significant social or environmental impacts that ultimately contribute towards a better, fairer and more sustainable future.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Multi-party Collaboration Award<\/strong> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/interface-online.org.uk\/sites\/default\/files\/Multiparty Collaboration Award 2020_0.docx\">Download the application form here<\/a>.<br \/>\nOpen to groups of consortia involving three or more parties working together on an innovative research project, the group must include research partners from academia and at least one business.
