We’re excited to share a new opportunity for Edinburgh Napier’s research community: free access to the UK Research Integrity Office (UKRIO)’s online training course on research integrity.

This self-paced, interactive course offers a solid foundation in research integrity – ideal for those new to the topic and a valuable refresher for experienced researchers.

It’s designed for all career stages and is relevant across disciplines.

What you’ll learn

Participants will explore:

  • Core principles of research integrity: honesty, transparency, rigour, and accountability.
  • Practical applications: research ethics, data collection, open research, and managing conflicts of interest.
  • UK frameworks and guidance: including the Concordat to Support Research Integrity.
  • Fostering a positive research culture: promoting responsible conduct and inclusivity.
  • Optional modules: covering collaborative working, authorship, AI in research, and research security.
